Events can be anything you want. If you fancy putting on a new event or promoting your organisation during Festival week let us know in good time and be part of the programnme.

The event is supported by the Parish Council and all your Borough Councillors and is funded through them for this first year.

Since starting on this project we have been very pleased by all the responses and the fact that absolutely no-one has said they do not support the idea even if they can’t get them or their group actually involved on this occasion.

We are sure that once people see all of the things happening they will want to get involved another time.

All we ask is that if you are in a group or club that can display or publicise its activities either through showing or demonstrating what you do then organise something to invite the public to share it with you during festival week. You can use it as a fundraiser or be entirely free - Its up to you. All we ask is that you let us know so that we can publicise your event under the Festival banner.
